The Unit That Took a Break
Janice was hosting a summer BBQ in her backyard when she noticed her guests were fanning themselves and sweating like they’d just run a marathon. “Oh no,” she said to herself, realizing the A/C must have gone out. She quickly called Mario, the HVAC tech, who showed up with his tool belt and a cheerful grin, ready to tackle the situation.
Mario popped open the A/C unit and found it had a serious case of “the blues,” with a clump of leaves and debris stuck inside. “Looks like your A/C’s been taking a nap on the job!” he said, holding up the pile of leaves like a trophy. Janice laughed and said, “Well, I guess it needed a snack break!” Mario cleaned it out and soon had the system cooling again. As he packed up, he joked, “Next time, I’ll bring a sandwich for your A/C so it doesn’t go on strike!” Janice waved him off, relieved that the BBQ could continue in comfort.
