THE DUCK
It was a quiet Sunday afternoon at Super Drain Plumbing when the phone rang. On the other end was Andrew, sounding more panicked than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. "Help! My water heater just broke, and my mother-in-law is visiting! She's already being a nightmare, and now she won't have hot water for her "bath time". If she finds out, I'll never hear the end of it!" Recognizing the urgency of a mother-in-law emergency, we sprang into action. Within minutes, our top technician, Johnny, was on his way to Andrew's house, armed with tools and a determination to save the day. When Johnny arrived, he was greeted by the sight of Andrew pacing nervously in the front yard. In no time, he had the water heater back in action, just as the mother-in-law appeared in the doorway, teacup in hand and a skeptical look on her face. "Is it fixed?" she demanded. Andrew, trying to muster some confidence, nodded. "Yes, thanks to Super Drain." Johnny, ever the showman, turned on the hot water tap in the kitchen sink. A perfect stream of hot water flowed out, and Andrews mother-in-law's expression softened ever so slightly. "I suppose you did alright," she said, taking her teacup and retreating to the bathroom. Jerry let out a sigh of relief. "Johnny, you saved me from certain doom. I don't know how to thank you! "Johnny grinned. "Just doing our job. Remember, at Super Drain, we’re always ready to handle even the toughest mother-in-law emergencies." As Johnny packed up his tools and headed back to the office, Andrew waved goodbye, already planning the glowing review he would write. Thanks to Super Drain, his Sunday was saved, and peace was restored in his household.
